Wildwoods Craft Kits is a family business established in 1985. Our company began with one kit, the Complete Pine Needle Basket Kit. We expanded each year, designing more kits and selling through wholesale trade shows and retail shows across the country. Our reputation is based on high quality materials and excellence in teaching traditional craft methods. We are committed to providing quality craft kits that inspire individual creative expression and encourage further exploration. We hope you'll try several of our basket and craft kits. Our kits teach traditional craft skills and tell a story about America's past. We take pride in our quality materials, excellence in kit instructions, attractive packaging and attentive customer service. We design, produce and package our kits in Mariposa, California. Our materials and packaging are recyclable and/or reusable. In July 2011 the business became a partnership between founder Lorna Pollock and her two daughters, Katherine Ogilvie and Madelyn McGrath. The new partnership plans on expanding the line with the addition of new products and instructional videos. We hope to offer a wide variety of handmade basket and craft kits so that buyers from all regions can learn skills from both their own cultures or from those of others cultures. Cultural arts are an important part of our lives as they continue our heritage while providing an area for creative expression.
